Location

Surrounded by picturesque cobbled streets, the Moores is in the heart of the shopping area and a stroll from the harbour of St Peter Port.

Features

Moores Hotel enjoys an almost unique position in the centre of St Peter Port, only minutes from the picturesque marinas and seafront, making it ideally placed for a holiday. As one of Guernseys best-known hotels it has recently celebrated its centenary as a top island hotel and has been run by the same family for over 50 years. A warm welcome is assured at this lovely granite built town house hotel, formerly the home of the De Saumarez family who are renowned in Guernsey history.

46 guest rooms.

The attractive Conservatory Restaurant is popular with locals and residents alike, and enjoys a very good reputation for fine food. At breakfast there is a wide buffet selection as well as traditional English breakfast. Each evening the varied five course dinner menu always provides a vegetarian option, and the a la carte menu, which features fresh Guernsey seafood, offers even more choice. To complement your meal, enjoy one of the choice wines from the wine cellar.

Guests booked on half board can take advantage of the hotel dinner exchange scheme and also enjoy dinner at Les Rocquettes or the Hotel de Havelet.

Alternatively, half board guests may choose to dine in the Library Bar where a choice of roasts, steaks and fish are always available. This traditional pub has walls lined with bookshelves through which guests are welcome to browse and while away an hour or so.

Another popular haunt for hotel residents and locals is the cosy cocktail bar where a log fire warms the chilliest of winter evenings.

Residents can also relax in the elegant lounge located adjacent to the Conservatory Restaurant.

Moores Hotel also boasts an authentic Austrian patisserie that creates and serves some of the finest gateaux in Guernsey. Light meals are also served throughout the day with a menu featuring healthy salads alongside delicious open sandwiches and traditional Austrian dishes. Guests with a sweet tooth are sure to be tempted by the Apfelstrudel, Sachertorte or the ever popular cream tea.

The Sanctuary Health Suite is beautifully appointed with a Jacuzzi, sauna, solarium and fitness rooms.

Residents are welcome to use the indoor swimming pool at the sister properties: Hotel de Havelet and Les Rocquettes.

Complimentary WiFi is available in the lobby and lounge.
