Golf in Guernsey

Guernsey, like Jersey, is well renowned for its impressive golf pedigree. With a number of golf courses available you can be sure to find the right course for your ability. We've selected just a few of our favourite golf courses in Guernsey. Take a look and find out which one's right for you.

Getting around Guernsey is so easy and although some hotels do have their own golf courses you can stay at any property on the island and still take advantage of the great golfing facilities available year round as the majority are open to all visitors.


St Pierre Park

The St Pierre Park Golf Course Guernsey designed by Tony Jacklin, has been strategically built to catch the unaware. This 9 hole golf course has an abundance of water and is testing although short.

Facilities at this golf course include a golf shop, a 3 hole testing par and a driving range.

Green fees during the week cost from £15 for 9 holes and £20 for 18 holes. Alternatively if you want to plan a golf weekend, green fees cost from £17 for 9 holes and £22 for 18 holes.

Royal Guernsey Golf Club

Founded in 1890, this golf course offers you the chance to enjoy splendid facilities in beautiful surroundings. The Guernsey links take advantage of the north coast of Guernsey including gorgeous views of two beaches with the golf fairway down the middle on land known as the L'Ancresse Common. 

Facilities at this golf range include a golf shop offering a comprehensive range of quality equipment and clothing and Club Professional, Chris Douglas, also holds lessons from half an hour to an hour.

Alderney Golf Club

Alderney golf club offers visitors a scenic and testing 9 hole course surrounded by unspoilt countryside, golden sandy beaches and the Victorian fortress. A club house is on site for you to sample a full English breakfast before the day begins, and if you want, you can even stay to enjoy the a la carte menu on offer.

Green fees at this golf course, depending on what time you play, around £20 during the week and £25 at the weekend, although the one off fee allows you to play as many holes as you wish to.
