The Duke (previously the Duke of Richmond) is a relaxed neighbourhood hotel set on the top of a hill overlooking a quiet park with views across St Peter Port to the sea beyond. It is only a short walk to the town centre and harbour; however, bear in mind it is an uphill stroll on the way back. Having stepped away from formality The Duke Hotel focusses on comfort, warm hosting and easygoing spaces. There’s light rooms, a warm lobby and an inviting all-day restaurant, The Dax, which boasts seasonal cooking, generous plates and a menu of classic cocktails, wines and more.

The fact we would like to return says it all!

After major operations last year it was a real treat to stay at the Duke. The staff were cheerful and helpful and the food was of a really good standard. We would definitely like to return.
