Guernsey 3 nights | Sark 2 nights
Day 1 | UK > GuernseyFly to Guernsey and make your own way to the 4* Best Western Hotel De Havelet, your base for the first three nights. Set in a gracious Georgian house, this traditional hotel has an elevated position overlooking St Peter Port harbour, with the town centre an easy walk away.
Days 2-3 | GuernseyGuernsey's blend of British and French influences is just part of its charm. Over two days you'll find miles of scenic cliff paths, outdoor adventure, boutique shops, tidal bathing pools, food with a view and lively harbour life. For a dose of history, visit Fort Grey on Rocquaine Bay, now home to a shipwreck museum, and stroll through the gardens and sculpture trail at Sausmarez Manor.
Day 4 | Guernsey > SarkSay goodbye to Guernsey for now and hop on a ferry from the Inter Island Quay for the sailing across to Sark. There are no cars here, so you can walk up the hill to the village or take the famous 'toast-rack' tractor taxi (at a small charge). The family-owned 4* Stocks sits in five acres of woodland in the heart of the island. It's known for friendly, personal service and an informal style, with 23 bedrooms, a popular evening restaurant and the 16th century Smuggler's Bar.
Day 5 | SarkSark is often called the crown jewel of the Channel Islands, and it's easy to see why. Enjoy coastal walks with views of Herm, Jethou and Guernsey, take a horse-drawn carriage tour and cycle the lanes across to Little Sark. Once night falls, you'll find some of the best stargazing in Europe. How much can you fit in?
Day 6 | Sark > Guernsey > UKIf time allows, visit the beautifully kept La Seigneurie Gardens before catching your ferry back to Guernsey. Keep your eyes peeled for dolphins on the way, then head to the airport for your journey home. Fancy a few more days? Just ask us about extending your stay on Guernsey.
Prices are per person based on 2 adults sharing and are subject to availability. Prices include accommodation with breakfast, plus travel by air subject to seasonality and days of operation from from Birmingham, Bristol, Exeter, Gatwick, Manchester and Southampton. Travel by sea as a foot passenger from Poole is also available. Other airports are available at a supplement.
Car hire is available on Guernsey at a supplement, although the hotel is centrally located with access to bus routes.
